Internal notifications

Store Pickup + Delivery sends location specific internal pickup and delivery notifications. We don't send internal shipping order notifications. 

You can use Shopify New order email for general new order notifications and replace it with our template by following our Email notifications article. 

Store Pickup + Delivery sends:

  • New pickup order email
  • Updated pickup order email
  • New delivery order email
  • Updated delivery order email

Those can be modified or disabled in Store Pickup + Delivery > Settings > Notifications.


Enabling internal pickup notifications

Store Pickup + Delivery sends New pickup order email when a pickup order is made, and Updated pickup order email when the order is updated. 

In order to start receiving these notifications you'll need to add the sender email, and the emails that should receive the notifications.

  1. Login to your Shopify admin, click Apps and then Store Pickup + Delivery.
  2. In Store Pickup + Delivery, click the Settings tab.
  3. Click Notifications
  4. Enter your store's email address. This is the email that will appear as the sender of the internal notifications. 
  5. Go to the Locations tab.
  6. Click on the desired location's name.
  7. Under Store pickup section, click Edit settings
  8. Scroll down until you see the Notification field and enter the email addresses that should receive this location’s internal pickup notifications.
  9. Repeat for other locations as needed.

Those email addresses should now start receiving location specific pickup internal notifications.


Disabling internal pickup notifications

Should you need to disable the internal notifications, you can do so if you go to Store Pickup + Delivery > Settings > Notifications

  1. Click on the notification you'd like to disable.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Disable notification.

This notification will now be disabled.

Should you need to enable it again, click on the notification name and click Enable notification.


Enabling internal delivery notifications

Store Pickup + Delivery sends New delivery order email when a delivery order is made, and Updated delivery order email when the order is updated. 

In order to start receiving these notifications you'll need to add the sender email, and the emails that should receive the notifications.

  1. Login to your Shopify admin, click Apps and then Store Pickup + Delivery.
  2. In Store Pickup + Delivery, click the Settings tab.
  3. Click Notifications
  4. Enter your store's email address. This is the email that will appear as the sender of the internal notifications. 
  5. Go to the Locations tab.
  6. Click on the desired location's name.
  7. Under Local delivery section, click Edit settings
  8. Scroll down until you see the Notification field and enter the email addresses that should receive this location’s internal delivery notifications.
  9. Repeat for other locations as needed.

Those email addresses should now start receiving location specific internal delivery notifications.


Disabling internal delivery notifications

Should you need to disable the internal notifications, you can do so if you go to Store Pickup + Delivery > Settings > Notifications

  1. Click on the notification you'd like to disable.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Disable notification.

This notification will now be disabled.

Should you need to enable it again, click on the notification name and click Enable notification.
