You can use a pickup note within the Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery widget to ask your customers about any specific pickup instructions.
This note can be optional or required, and appears in the widget after the customer has entered the store, date and time for pickup.
Requirements
You need to be on the newest version of Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery widget.
Which version of the widget am I using?You need to have Pickup enabled in the Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery > Settings > Pickup.
Enable an optional note
Click Settings, then Store pickup.
Find the Pickup note section and tick Enable pickup note.
Click Save.
An optional pickup note will now show up when your customers have selected their pickup details.
The pickup note will show as an additional attribute:
In the Shopify order view
In the Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery order view
Enable a required note
Click Settings, then Store pickup.
Find the Pickup note section and tick Enable pickup note.
Tick Pickup note is required.
Click Save.
A required pickup note will now show up when your customers have selected their pickup details, and they will not be able to proceed to check out until they add the note.
The pickup note will show as an additional attribute:
In the Shopify order view
In the Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery order view
Change the wording
You can change the wording related to the pickup note in our widget.
Click Settings, then click Text and Design.
In the Text and Design section, click Show next to Pickup widget.
Change text according to your business needs in Pickup note label, Missing pickup note message and Required pickup note label fields.
Click Save.
The changes will take place immediately in our widget.
Disable pickup note
If you don't want to show the pickup note in the widget, you can disable it.
Click Settings and then Store pickup.
Find the Pickup note section and untick Enable pickup note.
Click Save.
The pickup note will stop showing in the widget.
