Delivery order limits let you restrict the number of delivery orders you can receive per day, or per slot.
Requirements
You need to be on the Advanced plan or higher with Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery.
You need to have the delivery date and/or time picker enabled.
Set delivery order limits
Click Locations.
Click the location name you would like to add delivery order limits to.
In the Local delivery section, click Edit settings.
In the Delivery slots section, tick Limit number of orders per day
or tick Limit number of orders per delivery slot.
Delivery order limits can be set to:
Limit the number of delivery orders per day
You need to have the delivery date picker enabled, but delivery time picker disabled to have the ability to limit the number of delivery orders per day.
In Limit orders section, tick the Limit number of delivery orders per day.
You can now add the maximum number of orders you can receive for each day you have delivery enabled on. Maximum order numbers will be set to 0 by default, add a higher number to each day you want to offer delivery.
Click Save.
The number of delivery orders will now be limited per day for this location.
If you have multiple delivery locations, please repeat this process on each of your locations.
Check the delivery daily limit report
Click the reports icon next to the daily limits for a specific day. In this example, we'll use Monday.
Select a Monday in the calendar.
The report will show all the orders made for that day, and note the number of remaining slots.
Limit the number of delivery orders per time slot
You need to have the delivery date and time picker enabled to limit the number of delivery orders per time slot.
In the Delivery slots section, tick the Limit number of orders per delivery slot.
You can now add the maximum number of delivery orders you can receive per slot.
If you switch to Different slots each day of the week, you will be able to add different delivery slot limits for different delivery days.
Click Save.
The number of delivery orders will now be limited per slot for this location.
If you have multiple delivery locations, please repeat this process on each of your locations.
Check the delivery slot limit report
Click the reports icon next to the slot limit you'd like to check. In this example, we'll use Monday.
Select a Monday in the calendar.
The report will show all the orders made for that slot on that day, and note the number of remaining slots.
Notes
Cancelled/deleted orders do not count towards order limits
Editing order's date, time, and location will update the limits
Limitations
Orders will be counted towards the limits only if they have our attributes (if not, the order will not appear in Zapiet dashboard).
Your maximum order limit may be exceeded:
If multiple customers are checking out at the same time, it's possible that they both select the last available slot for a given day.
