You can add automated tags to all delivery orders. You can also add tags that will only be applied to orders placed from specific locations.

Tag delivery orders

All delivery orders

You can add automated tags to all delivery orders. If you have the date and time picker enabled, then you can also add the customer's delivery date, time, and day of the week as a tag.

  1. Click Settings, then Local Delivery.

  2. In the Tags section, you can enter tag(s) that will be automatically applied to every delivery order.

    • Tags are case-sensitive. That means that “Local Delivery” and “local delivery” are different tags.

  3. To add multiple tags you will need to add them one at a time, and click the + Add tag button after each tag.

  4. If you want to add a date tag to your delivery orders, select Tag order with delivery date.

  5. Select the date format for tags.

  6. If you want to add a time tag to your delivery orders, select Tag order with delivery time.

  7. Select the time format for tags.

  8. If you want to add a day of the week tag to your delivery orders, select Tag order with delivery day of week.

  9. Click Save.

The tag(s) you have created will be automatically applied to all delivery orders.

Location-specific orders

You can add tags that will only be applied to orders placed from specific locations.

  1. Click Locations.

  2. Select the location you want to edit.

  3. In the Local Delivery section, click Edit settings.

  4. Go to the Tags section.

  5. Add tag(s) that will be added to every delivery order from this location.

    • Tags are case-sensitive. That means that “Local Delivery” and “local delivery” are different tags.

  6. To add multiple tags you will need to add them one at a time, and click the + Add tag button after each tag.

  7. Click Save.

The tag(s) you have created will be automatically applied to orders placed from this location. Repeat for all locations you want to add location specific tags to.

Disable delivery tags

If you want to disable your delivery order tags, you will need to disable the general delivery tags and the location-specific delivery tags.

All delivery orders

  1. Click Settings, then Local delivery.

  2. In the Tags section, remove all added tags and disable the date, time, and day of the week tags.

  3. Click Save.

You have now disabled all general delivery order tags.

Location-specific orders

  1. Click Locations.

  2. Select the location you want to edit.

  3. In the Local delivery section, click Edit settings.

  4. Remove all added tags.

  5. Click Save.

You have now removed location specific tags for this location. Repeat this process for as many locations as you need.

Notes

  • Tags are case-sensitive. That means that “Local Delivery” and “local delivery” are different tags.

Limitations

  • Due to a Shopify limitation, tags that are associated with orders and draft orders can have up to 40 characters.

  • If you use another app to tag orders, you will need to disable all Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery tags. If both apps are trying to tag the same orders, this can lead to missing tags.
