Rapidus gives you one-hour and same-day delivery for your business, 24/7/365.
To automatically send your orders to Rapidus, we recommend connecting your Rapidus account to Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery.
Requirements
You need to be on the Essential plan or higher on Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery.
To use Rapidus, your store will need access to the Carrier Service API, and Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery will need to be added as a carrier to your domestic shipping profile.
Your store must be in one of these US states: CA, CO, WA, TX, and IL.
You must have an active Rapidus account and API key.
Contact Rapidus support and ask them for an API key to use with Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery.
You must have our delivery date and time picker enabled.
Enable this in Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery > Settings > Local Delivery.
Activate Rapidus
Within Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery, go to Settings > Last mile delivery.
In Rapidus, click Activate Rapidus.
Enter your API key and click Activate Rapidus again.
Rapidus has now been activated—to finish setting up, you need to configure your settings.
Configure settings
Add a support email address.
This will be used to notify you if there is an error when scheduling an order.Select the locations Rapidus should handle deliveries for.
Not all locations need to be selected if you're using more than one delivery service.For all ticked locations, you need to add a contact name and a valid contact phone number.
You can choose to add tracking details to each order.
With this setting enabled, your orders will automatically be fulfilled in Shopify. This will let you and your customers see the delivery driver in real-time.Click Save.
Orders should now be sent to Rapidus when they are created.
If you are creating test orders, make sure your pickup and delivery addresses are different.
Configure rates
You can use Rapidus rates or Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery rates for your local deliveries.
For any questions about the rate value, please contact Rapidus support team at [email protected] - we only show the rates they generate.
Use Rapidus rates
Tick Enable Rapidus rates.
You can customize the rate name, and add a description if needed.
If you would like to offer free delivery over a certain value:
Tick the free delivery option.
Add the minimum order value over which delivery should be free
If needed, add a handling fee.

In Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery, go to the Rates tab.
Find the Delivery section and click Disable delivery rates.
Click Confirm, disable rates.
Click Save.
Your local delivery rates will only be generated by Rapidus now.
If you are creating test orders, make sure your pickup and delivery addresses are different.
Use Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery rates
If you're not using Rapidus for rates, the phone number field in the checkout should be a required section.
You can set this in Shopify admin > Checkout > Customer information.Within Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery, click Rates.
Configure the settings.
You can change the price for delivery, the rate name, or add a third-party carrier.

Disable Rapidus
If you would like to stop using Rapidus, you can disable our integration.
Within Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery, go to Settings > Last mile delivery.
In Rapidus, click Configure settings.
Click Disable Rapidus.
Your Rapidus integration was disabled successfully. If you were using Rapidus rates, you need to add new checkout rates in the Rates tab for Local Delivery. For more information, you can take a look at our charging for delivery article.
Notes
For any questions about the rate value, please contact Rapidus support—we only show the rates they generate.
Cancelled orders in Shopify will also be cancelled in Rapidus.
Limitations
Customers cannot use Express checkout methods or a third-party sales channel such as Facebook, Instagram or Pinterest.
Troubleshooting
Ensure you are using the correct API key.
Add a Contact name and Contact phone number to all locations Rapidus handles deliveries for.
Add a support email address to get notifications about failed orders.
If you are testing rates, make sure to use different pickup and delivery addresses.
