You can select which products are available for pickup from certain locations—you can offer all products, specific products, or specific collections.
To display only the locations where the items in the cart are in stock instead, you will need to use the Shopify inventory integration. Connecting Shopify inventory with Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery will ensure that the pickup locations displayed will have the required inventory available at the time of ordering.
Set up product availability
In Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery, click Locations.
Select the location you want to edit.
In the Store pickup section, click Edit settings.
Go to the Product availability section.
You can set up product availability according to your business needs:
If all active products can be picked up from this location, select All products.
If you offer only certain products for store pickup, select Specific products.
Click Select products.
Tick all the products that are available for pickup from this location.
Now only the selected items will be available for pickup from this location.
You need to be on the Pro plan or higher.
You can only add manual collections, as automated collections will not update when new items are added.
Select Specific collections.
Click Select collections.
Tick the collection(s) that should be available for pickup from this location.
Now only the selected collection(s) will be available for pickup from this location.
If you want to switch between Specific products and Specific collections, you must first delete the saved specific products.
You can only add manual collections for product availability when using Specific collections, as automated collections will not update when new items are added.
Deleting a collection takes a couple of minutes—it may still be selectable after it's deleted.
When you add a new product to the collection using Specific collections, the collection will be removed from the product availability and needs to be re-added in locations settings.
If you are offering specific products from different locations, your customers will still be able to add them in the same cart, but won’t be able to check out.
As a workaround, you can add the collection tag to your products. You can add those tags to the cart, so your customers would know which products they need to remove in order to check out.
Alternatively, you can hire a Shopify expert to find a better solution. For example, you can create a home page where customers would select the collection location first, and then won’t mix their products.
