Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery will calculate the latitude and longitude for your locations by default, but sometimes it can be slightly incorrect if the Google address is wrong or outdated, or if a store isn’t yet on Google Maps.
If needed, you can manually set the location’s latitude and longitude. This will ensure that delivery validation (customer within maximum radius and customer within maximum driving distance) is calculated from the correct location. This will also help with the Enable geographic search feature, which allows customers to search for pickup locations nearby in Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery widget.
Find the longitude and latitude values
We recommend using Google Maps to find the values.
Find your store location in Google Maps.
Left-click on a red pin to see the longitude and latitude values for this location. The first number is always the latitude and the second is the longitude.
Click on the values to copy them.
Add values to Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery
In Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery, click Locations.
Click the location you want to edit.
In the Latitude and longitude section, tick Override latitude and longitude.
Enter or paste the values you have copied from Google Maps.
Click Save.
Now Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery will use these longitude and latitude parameters to calculate the distance from your store to other locations.
