You can create an order report with the necessary production information instead of exporting all the information in your order. A production report provides a CSV file with a breakdown of all of the items you need to produce within a specific period of time

A production report includes:

  • Product quantity

  • Product name

  • Variant ID

  • Product ID

  • Custom line properties

For example, if you have a bakery, you can create a production report in the morning to give you the total number of specific breads, pastries, and cakes that need to be prepared today.

Requirements

  • You need to be on the Pro plan or higher with Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery.

Create a production report

To create a production report, follow our video tutorial or the written steps.

  1. Click Orders.

  2. Select the orders you'd like to create a production report for. You can also filter them first if needed.

  3. Click Export to CSV, and then Production report.

  4. In the pop-up, enter your email address, and click Export production report.

  5. You should get an email with the download link to the email address you provided. Click Download report.

Your file should look similar to the one below.

Limitations

  • You can only export to one email address at a time.

  • If you are using Microsoft Excel, the data will be changed to scientific notation by default.

  • If you use an app that updates the Shopify order after the order is placed, the production report will not show the updated information until the order is manually opened in Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery.

  • You can only export orders made within your data retention period, as set in Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery > Settings > Data Protection.
E.g. if your data retention policy is set to 90 days, you will be able to export orders from the last 90 days.
