Integrating Zapiet - Product Rates

Zapiet - Product Rates will show for all your checkout methods if it is added as a carrier directly in Shopify. If you would like the rates to only show for certain checkout methods, you can integrate it into Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery.

Zapiet - Product Rates can be used for your delivery or shipping rates.


Requirements

  • The Carrier-Calculated Shipping is required when using Zapiet - Product Rates, in order to show the rates in the checkout. You can learn more in our Shopify Carrier-Calculated Shipping guide.

  • All products that require shipping need to be marked as a Physical product in Shopify.

  • You need to create a product group, create rates and test existing rates before connecting Zapiet - Product Rates to Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery.


Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery rates

Our latest rates feature allows merchants to use Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery rates without needing access to Shopify Carrier-Calculated Shipping. Take a look at our Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery rates article for more details.

You will still need the Carrier-Calculated Shipping to use Zapiet - Product Rates.

  1. In Zapiet - Product Rates, click Settings.

  2. In the Advanced section, tick Enable integration with Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery.

  3. Select the shipping method that Zapiet - Product Rates should calculate rates for.

  4. Click Save.

Your delivery rates will be calculated by Zapiet - Product Rates through Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery—you can now test them.


Delete duplicate rates

If you're only using Zapiet - Product Rates for delivery rates, we recommend that you disable delivery rates by Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery, to avoid duplicate rates or other rates in the checkout.

  1. In Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery, click Rates.

  2. Click trash bin icon to remove all delivery rates you have added.

  3. Click Save changes.

Your duplicate rates are deleted now, and the only rates generated for delivery will be coming from Zapiet - Product Rates.


Disable rates generated by Zapiet - Product Rates

If you no longer want to use rates generated by Zapiet - Product Rates app through Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery, you can disable them.

  1. In Zapiet - Product Rates, click Settings.

  2. Untick Enable integration with Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery.

  3. Changes will be automatically saved.

Rates generated by Zapiet - Product Rates will no longer appear when selecting delivery or shipping in our app.

Make sure to add your delivery or shipping rates within Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery, so that your customers can check out. You can take a look at our Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery rates article for more information.


Troubleshooting

If you didn't get the rate you were expecting, please double-check your rate settings first.

  1. Make sure you have the Carrier-Calculated Shipping enabled on your store.

  2. Make sure Zapiet - Product Rates is added as a carrier to your shipping profile in Shopify.

  3. Check if Zapiet - Product Rates is enabled in Zapiet - Product Rates > Settings.

  4. All products that require shipping need to be marked as a Physical product in Shopify.

  5. Make sure that you're testing with a product that was added to the Zapiet - Product Rates product group.

  6. Check if you can see a rate being generated in Zapiet - Product Rates > Logs.
