You can use a delivery note within the Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery widget to ask your customers about any specific delivery instructions, like the gate code.

This note can be optional or required, and it's available only for Local delivery. It appears in the widget after the customer has validated their postal code/address and entered the date and time.



Requirements

  • You need to be on the newest version of Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery widget.
    Which version of the widget am I using?

  • You need to have Local delivery enabled in the Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery > Settings.


Enable an optional note

  1. Within Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery, click Settings and then Local delivery.

  2. Find the Delivery note section and tick Enable delivery note.

  3. Click Save.

An optional delivery note will now show up when your customers select the delivery details.

The delivery note will show as an additional attribute:

  • In the Shopify order view

  • In the Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery order view


Enable a required note

  1. Within Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery, click Settings and then Local delivery.

  2. Find the Delivery note section and tick Enable delivery note.

  3. Tick Delivery note is required.

  4. Click Save.

A required delivery note will now show up when your customers select the delivery details, and they will not be able to proceed to check out unless they add the note.

The delivery note will show as an additional attribute:

  • In the Shopify order view

  • In the Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery order view


Disable delivery note

  1. Within Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery, click Settings and then Local delivery.

  2. Find the Delivery note section and untick Enable delivery note.

  3. Click Save.

The delivery note will stop showing in the widget.
