Pickup slots are the pickup times your customers can choose from after selecting a date. They can be the same for every pickup day, or you can change them based on the day of the week. These settings need to be set up individually for each location.
You can set up pickup time slots by frequency or create custom time slots.
Requirements
Pickup date and time picker must be enabled.
You can check this setting in Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery > Location > Pickup Settings, under date and time pickers.
Create pickup time slots by frequency
By default, pickup slots are 60 minutes long, but you can change the frequency to 30, 20, 15 or 10 minutes.
In Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery, click Locations.
Click the location name you want to edit.
Go to Store Pickup and click Edit settings.
In the Pickup times section, select whether the pickup times are the same or different each day of the week.
Add your first and last pickup times.
If your pickup time slots are different every day of the week, then repeat this process for every day that you offer pickup.
Select the pickup slot frequency. By default, pickup slots are 60 minutes long, but you can change the frequency to 30, 20, 15, 10 minutes.
Once you have added the pickup times and frequency, click Save.
Repeat this process for all of your locations that offer pickup.
The pickup days and times you have set up will now show in the widget.

Create custom pickup time slots
Set up the number and length of the pickup slots that suit your business needs.
In Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery, click Locations.
Click the location name you want to edit.
Go to Store Pickup and click Edit settings.
In Pickup slots field, click Custom.
Read through the Custom slot limitations and click Confirm.
When you enable custom slots, you will be able to use only order limits per slot, not per day. After adding custom pickup slots, you will need to add order limits per each slot (available on the Advanced plan or higher in Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery).
Click the Add slot button and configure the pickup slot from and until times. You can add as many slots as necessary.
The slot will be blocked out when it starts (e.g. if you have one slot from 9-5, same-day pickup will not be available after 9am). If you want to offer same-day pickup, we recommend adding multiple shorter slots.
If your custom pickup time slots are different every day of the week, then repeat this process for every day of the week.
Once you have added the pickup times and frequency, click Save.
Once the pickup slots are added, you also need to set up your opening and closing times. In Pickup times section, click Set business hours.
Select whether your opening times are the same or different each day of the week.
If your opening hours are the same everyday of the week, add your opening and closing times.
If your opening times are different, then repeat this process for every day of the week.
Click Save.
Repeat this process for all of your locations that offer pickup.
The pickup days and times you have set up will now show in the widget.

Do not preselect the first available time slot
By default, our widget will preselect the first available time slot, as soon as your customers select the delivery date. If needed, you can disable this feature.
In Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery, click Settings.
Click Store pickup.
In Preselected values section, untick Preselect first available time.
Click Save.
Our widget will not preselect the first available time slot for pickup.
Limitations
Once a pickup slot begins, customers cannot select it for pickup.
