How can I resolve common issues related to Shopify pickup settings with Zapiet?

Zapiet's integration with Shopify provides a convenient solution for managing store pickup and delivery settings. However, certain limitations and settings in Shopify can result in functionality issues within Zapiet. Below, we address common problems and their corresponding solutions.


Customers unable to check out for pickup

When Shopify's local pickup feature is enabled alongside Zapiet, it causes conflicts in the checkout process, particularly with rate calculations. To resolve this issue:

  1. Navigate to Shopify Settings > Shipping and delivery > Pickup in store > Set up > Your location.

  2. Disable the Pickup option.

Editable address section during checkout for store pickup

In Shopify, the address section on the checkout page remains editable even for customers selecting the store pickup option. However, this section defaults to the location's pickup address once the order is placed. This behavior is inherent to Shopify's platform and cannot be disabled unless offering exclusively store pickup.
