Enabling the order status widget

If you would like to remind your customers of the selections they made in the cart widget or the checkout widget, you can add our order status widget to the thank you and order status page.

If you're unable to use the order status widget, contact us on chat and let us know. We will offer you an alternative solution.


Requirements


Enable the widget

  1. Click Settings, then Themes and checkouts.

  2. In Order status page section, click Customize checkout.

  3. In the top dropdown menu, click Checkout, then Thank you.

  4. At the top left, open Apps icon Apps.

  5. Under Zapiet Pickup + Delivery, add the Order status widget to the Thank you page.

  6. You will now see the widget on the thank you page.

  7. In the Apps menu, click All to see all app blocks.

  8. Under Zapiet Pickup + Delivery, add the Order status widget to the Order status page.

  9. You will now see the widget on the order status page.

  10. Click Save.

The order status widget has now been added to the thank you page and the order status page so your customers can check their pickup, delivery or shipping details.


Publish the order status page

If you're enabling the order status widget for the first time, you will need to publish the order status page on your theme. If your order status page is published, you can skip this section.

  1. In Online Store > Themes tab, click Customize next to the theme you want to edit.

  2. In the top dropdown menu, click Home page and then Checkout and new customer accounts.

  3. In the top dropdown menu, click Checkout, then Order status.

  4. Click Publish.

The order status extension widget is now enabled on your store. It will remind your customers of the pickup, delivery, or shipping details selected in our cart or checkout widget.

Disable the widget

If you no longer want to use the order status widget, you can disable it.

  1. Click Settings, then Themes and checkouts.

  2. In Order status page section, click Customize checkout.

  3. In the top dropdown menu, click Checkout, then Thank you.

  4. At the top left, open Apps icon Apps.

  5. Click Added to see the widgets you have enabled.

  6. Under Zapiet Pickup + Delivery, click Order status widget.

  7. Click Remove block. If needed, repeat to remove both blocks.​

  8. Click Save.

The order status widget will no longer be showing on the thank you or order status pages.


Notes

  • You can customize the text in the order status widget by going to Settings > Text and translations > Order status.
