Enabling the product page widget

You can show your customers whether a product is available for pickup or local delivery, and display the earliest available date and time for each option based on their location directly on the product page using our product page widget.


Requirements


Enable the widget

  1. Click Settings, then Themes and checkouts.

  2. In the Product page section, click Preview in theme.

  3. You can change the placement of the app block according to your business needs. Click and drag the app block to move it.

  4. Click Save.

The product page widget has now been added to the default product page. Repeat for as many product page templates as you need.

Customers can now check if they are eligible for delivery on the product page, and see the earliest available times for this product.

Notes

  • This widget does not include shipping availability, only pickup or delivery.

  • The customers selection will not be applied to the cart or checkout widget.

  • If you don’t want the widget to appear on all product pages, you can create a new product page template in Shopify’s theme editor for the products where you don’t want the widget, and remove the widget from that template.

  • Any custom scripts added in Settings > Developers > Custom scripts will not apply to this widget.

  • Any custom styles added in Settings > Developers > Custom styles will not apply to this widget.
