Pickup order limits let you restrict the number of pickup orders you can receive per day, or per slot.


Requirements

  • Pickup order limits are available on the Advanced plan or higher with Store Pickup + Delivery.

  • To use pickup slot limits, your store needs to be on Online store 2.0. Take a look at our Widget version article to determine which version you are on.


To set your pickup order limits

  1. Within Store Pickup + Delivery, click the Locations tab.

  2. Click the location name you'd like to add the limits to.

  3. In the Store pickup section, click Edit settings.

  4. Find the Pickup order limits section.


No pickup order limits

To use the pickup date and time pickers without the order limits feature, select No pickup order limits option.

This option will be selected by default.


Limiting the number of pickup orders per day

  1. Make sure you have the date picker turned on for Store pickup.

  2. Under Pickup order limits, select Limit number of pickup orders per day.

  3. You can now add the maximum number of orders you want to receive for each day you have pickup enabled on. They will be set to 0 by default, so make sure to add a higher number to each day you want to offer pickup on.

  4. Click Save.

The number of pickup orders will now be limited per day for this location.

If you have multiple pickup locations, please repeat this process on each of your locations.


Checking the pickup daily limit report

  1. Click the reports icon next to the daily limits for a specific day. In this example, we'll use Monday.

  2. Select a Monday in the calendar, and click search.

  3. The report will show all the orders made for that day, and note the number of remaining slots.


Limiting the number of pickup orders per time slot

Requirement

  1. Make sure you have the date and time picker turned on for Store pickup.

  2. Under Pickup order limits, select Limit number of pickup orders per time slot.

  3. You can now add the maximum number of pickup orders you want to receive per slot.

  4. Click Save.

The number of pickup orders will now be limited per slot for this location.

If you have multiple pickup locations, please repeat this process on each of your locations.


Checking the pickup slot limit report

  1. Click the reports icon next to the slot limit.

  2. Select a date in the calendar, and the time.

  3. The report will show all the orders made for that time slot on that day, and note the number of remaining slots.


Features

  • Cancelled/deleted orders do not count towards order limits

  • Editing order's date, time and location will update the limits


Limitations

  • Pickup slot limits apply to all of your pickup slots. We don't have the option of setting different limits per each slot.

  • Orders will be counted towards the limits only if they have our attributes (if not, order will not appear in Zapiet dashboard).

Your maximum order limit may be exceeded:

  • If multiple customers are checking out at the same time, it's possible that they both select the last available slot for a given day.

  • If you are using abandoned checkout email notifications. Make sure to follow our Abandoned checkout emails article to avoid this issue.
