You can add automated tags to all pickup orders. You can also add tags that will only be applied to orders placed from specific locations.

Tag pickup orders

All pickup orders

You can add automated tags to all pickup orders. If you have the date and time picker enabled, then you can also add the customer's pickup date, time, and day of the week as a tag.

  1. Click Settings, then Store pickup.

  2. In the Tags section, you can enter tag(s) that will be automatically applied to every pickup order.

    • Tags are case-sensitive. That means that “Store Pickup” and “store pickup” are different tags.

    • To add multiple tags you will need to add them one at a time, and click the + Add tag button after each tag.

  3. If you want to add a date tag to your pickup orders, select tag order with pickup date.

  4. Select the date format for tags.

  5. If you want to add a time tag to your pickup orders, select tag order with pickup time.

  6. Select the time format for tags.

  7. If you want to add a day of the week tag to your pickup orders, select Tag order with pickup day of week.

  8. Click Save.

The tag(s) you have created will be automatically applied to all pickup orders.

Location-specific orders

You can add tags that will only be applied to orders placed from specific locations.

  1. Click Locations and select the location you want to edit.

  2. In the Store pickup section, click Edit settings.

  3. Go to the Tags section.

  4. Add tag(s) that will be added to every pickup order from this location.

    • Tags are case-sensitive. That means that “Store Pickup” and “store pickup” are different tags.

    • To add multiple tags you will need to add them one at a time, and click the + Add tag button after each tag.

  5. Click Save.

The tag(s) you have created will be automatically applied to orders placed from this location. Repeat for all locations you want to add location specific tags to.

Disable pickup tags

If you want to disable your pickup order tags, you will need to disable the general pickup tags and the location-specific pickup tags.

All pickup orders

  1. Click Settings, then Store pickup.

  2. In the Tags section, remove all added tags and disable the date and time tags.

  3. Click Save.

You have now disabled all general pickup order tags.

Location-specific orders

  1. Click Locations and select the location you want to edit.

  2. In the Store pickup section, click Edit settings.

  3. Remove all added tags.

  4. Click Save.

You have now removed location specific tags for this location. Repeat this process for as many locations as you need.

Notes

  • Tags are case-sensitive. That means that “Store Pickup” and “store pickup” are different tags.

Limitations

  • Due to a Shopify limitation, tags that are associated with orders and draft orders can have up to 40 characters.

  • If you use another app to tag orders, you will need to disable all Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery tags. If both apps are trying to tag the same orders, this can lead to missing tags.
