You can use a shipping note within the Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery widget to ask your customers about any specific shipping instructions.
This note can be optional or required. It appears after the customer selects a shipping date, or if the date picker is disabled, when they choose shipping.
Requirements
You need to be on the newest version of Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery widget.
Which version of the widget am I using?You need to have Shipping enabled in the Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery > Settings > Shipping.
Enable an optional note
Click Settings, then Shipping.
Find the Shipping note section and tick Enable shipping note.
Click Save.
An optional shipping note will now show up when your customers have selected their shipping details.
The shipping note will show as an additional attribute:
In the Shopify order view
In the Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery order view
Enable a required note
Click Settings, then Shipping.
Find the Shipping note section and tick Enable shipping note.
Tick Shipping note is required.
Click Save.
A required shipping note will now show up when your customers have selected their shipping details, and they will not be able to proceed to check out until they add the note.
The shipping note will show as an additional attribute:
In the Shopify order view
In the Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery order view
Change the wording
You can change the wording related to the shipping note in our widget.
Click Settings, then click Text and Design.
In the Text and Design section, click Show next to Shipping widget.
Change text according to your business needs in Shipping note label, Missing shipping note message and Required Shipping note label fields.
Click Save.
The changes will take place immediately in our widget.
Disable shipping note
If you don't want to show the shipping note in the widget, you can disable it.
Click Settings and then Shipping.
Find the Shipping note section and untick Enable shipping note.
Click Save.
The shipping note will stop showing in the widget.
