You can add automated tags to all shipping orders. If you have the date picker enabled, then you can also add the customer's shipping date as a tag.

To add shipping order tags, follow our video tutorial or the written steps below.

Tag shipping orders

  1. Click Settings, then Shipping.

  2. In the Tags section, you can enter tag(s) that will be automatically applied to every shipping order.

    • Tags are case-sensitive. That means that “Shipping” and “shipping” are different tags.

    • To add multiple tags you will need to add them one at a time, and click the + Add tag button after each tag.

  3. If you want to add a date tag to your shipping orders, select tag order with shipping date.

  4. Select the date format for tags.

  5. Click Save.

The tag(s) you have created will be automatically applied to all shipping orders.

Disable shipping tags

  1. Click Settings, then Shipping.

  2. In the Tags section, remove all added tags and disable the date tag.

  3. Click Save.

You have now disabled all shipping order tags.

Notes

  • Tags are case-sensitive. That means that “Shipping” and “shipping” are different tags.

Limitations

  • Due to a Shopify limitation, tags that are associated with orders and draft orders can have up to 40 characters.

  • If you use another app to tag orders, you will need to disable all Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery tags. If both apps are trying to tag the same orders, this can lead to missing tags.
