What are Zapiet's products and services?

Zapiet builds advanced pickup, delivery and shipping tools for Shopify. Learn how Shopify works with pickup and delivery on Zapiet.com.

A pickup, delivery and shipping app that includes product availability control, Shopify POS integration, live multi-location inventory, and outstanding tools for organizing orders. To view a detailed list of features, plans and pricing, take a look at our website.

What Shopify plan do I need to use for your app?

Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery can be used with the "Basic" or higher Shopify plans. It is not available on the "Starter" plan.

If you'd like to also use our rates features, then you will need to be on the "Shopify" or higher plans.

Does Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery work with other apps?

You can find the apps that we integrate or are compatible with in our App compatibility article.

Can I create an order report?

You can create two types of order reports within Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery, or you can use an external app that we integrate with.

If you are on the Advanced or higher plan, you can export your orders to see all the information regarding the orders. If you are on the Professional or higher plan, you can export a production report which will only show the products you need to prepare for the day.

I have a development/testing store and a live store. Can you import the settings from our other store?

We can transfer the settings from one store and import them into another—contact us at [email protected] with both store URL's and we will do it for you.


Can I charge delivery prices based on delivery days?

We can only create price-based rates or weight-based rates within the app. For more complex shipping rates, you can take a look at our app compatibility guide for the apps we integrate with.

Can I charge delivery prices based on the products in the cart?

We can only create price-based rates or weight-based rates within the app. For more complex shipping rates, you can take a look at our app compatibility guide for the apps we integrate with.

We do not recommend making more than one shipping profile—if you cannot disable the shipping profiles or use another app, Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery has some workarounds, but each method has advantages and disadvantages. Take a look at our multiple shipping profiles guide for more information.


Where can I change my store hours/days?

The store information that is shown in the "More information" link in the widget is automatically generated based on when your store offers pickup.

You can change the opening days by following our configuring pickup days article, or the hours by following our configuring pickup slots article.


Can we use Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery in the checkout pages?

If you are using Shopify Plus, you can use our new checkout extension widget, which will show the Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery widget in the checkout pages.

Does Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery work in the mini cart/drawer cart/side cart/ajax cart/modal cart?

Depending on the theme you're using, the widget can't always be placed in the mini cart.

In this case, we redirect the checkout button in the mini cart to the main cart page. If you are using a theme from the Shopify theme store, it should be done automatically when you enable the Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery widget.

What does the error message "There was a problem adding the ZapietID to your cart" mean?

When a product is added to the cart, but is no longer in stock when the customer checks out, they will see the error message "There was a problem adding the ZapietID to your cart".

Customers can remove the item that is out of stock, or once the item is available again they can proceed to checkout.

If you'd like to change the wording of this error message, you can do this in Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery > Settings > Text & Design > Widget.
