You can create customisable options for your products, allowing customers to personalise their selections.
You can specify which products these options will apply to, from all products, specific products, specific collections, specific tags, specific product types, or specific vendors.
The only option type available are checkboxes. If you need additional customisation options, we recommend Zapiet - Product Options.
Requirements
To enable the app block, you will need to have permission to manage apps from the store owner.
Create product options
Click Settings, then Product options.
Click Create option list, or Create.
Add an Option name.
Start adding option values. Click Add option value to add more checkboxes.
You can change the order of the options.
If needed, you can add Help text.
Select if this is a Required field for your customers to complete before adding the product to the cart.
Limit how many checkboxes can be selected on the product page. Add a minimum and maximum number of selections. If this is left blank, the customer will be able to choose as many as they like.
Select which products will display this option. For more information on the available options, take a look at the Product availability section.
Click Create.
You have now created your product option and applied it to your products.
To see the options on the products, you will need to enable the app block.
Product availability
You can select which products the options you've created will be applied to.
You can choose from:
All products
If this option should apply to every product, select All products and click Save.
To see the options on the products, you will need to enable the app block.
Specific products
If you need to add many products, please use the Specific collections, Specific tags, Specific product types or Specific vendors methods.
If this option should apply to only certain products, select Specific products.
Click Select products.
Tick all the products that this option applies to.
Click Add.
Click Save.
Now, only the selected items will have this option applied to it.
To see the options on the products, you will need to enable the app block.
Specific collections
Select Specific collections.
Click Select collections.
Tick the collection(s) that this option should apply to.
Click Add.
Click Save.
Now, only the selected collection(s) will have this option available.
To see the options on the products, you will need to enable the app block.
Specific tags
Select Specific tags.
Add a product tag and click +Add tag.
Make sure the tags added to Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery match your Shopify tags exactly.
You can add multiple tags, if needed.
Click Save.
Now, only the products with selected tag(s) will have this option available.
To see the options on the products, you will need to enable the app block.
Specific product types
Select Specific product types.
Add a product type and click +Add product type.
You can add multiple product types, if needed.
Click Save.
Now, only the selected products type(s) will have this option available.
To see the options on the products, you will need to enable the app block.
Specific vendors
Select Specific vendors.
Add a vendor and click +Add vendor.
Make sure the vendors added to Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery match your Shopify vendors exactly.
You can add multiple vendors, if needed.
Click Save.
Now, only the products by selected vendor(s) will have this option available.
To see the options on the products, you will need to enable the app block.
Enable the app block
In Shopify Online Store > Themes tab, click Customize next to the theme you want to edit.
Click Home page, then Products.
Click Default product.
Under Template, click Add app block.
Click the Zapiet Eats - Options to enable our widget.

Click and drag the app block to position it on your product page.
Click Save.
The Zapiet Eats options app block is now enabled on the product page, and your customers will be able to choose their options.
