Zapiet Eats sends internal emails about order status changes.
We recommend disabling Shopify staff notifications when using Zapiet Eats internal notifications.
We send:
Enter the email address(es)
Internal notifications are location specific. You need to specify the sender email and the email(s) that should receive them under:
Restaurants settings
Click Restaurants.
Select the restaurant you would like to receive internal notifications from.
In the Internal notifications section, enter the email address(es) that should receive this restaurant's internal emails.
Click Save changes.
Repeat this process for the rest of your restaurants.
General settings
Click Settings.
In Advanced section, click Notifications.
Under General settings, enter your store's email address. This is the email that will appear as the sender of the internal notifications.
Click Save changes.
New pickup order
We send a New pickup order email when a new pickup order is placed.
You can preview and edit your New pickup order email notification.
In Settings > Notifications > Internal notifications, click New pickup order.
You can see what the email will look like to your team.
To customize the email, click Edit code.
Click Preview template to see what the email will look like after customizing it.
Once you've made the changes, click Save.
Your New pickup order email notification should look similar to the one below.
New delivery order
We send a New delivery order email when a new delivery order is placed.
You can preview and edit your New delivery order email notification.
In Settings > Notifications > Internal notifications, click New delivery order.
You can see what the email will look like to your team.
To customize the email, click Edit code.
Click Preview template to see what the email will look like after customizing it.
Once you've made the changes, click Save.
Your New delivery order email notification should look similar to the one below.
Order cancelled
We send an Order cancelled email when an order is cancelled.
You can preview and edit your Order cancelled email notification.
In Settings > Notifications > Internal notifications, click Order cancelled.
You can see what the email will look like to your team.
To customize the email, click Edit code.
Click Preview template to see what the email will look like after customizing it.
Once you've made the changes, click Save.
Your Order cancelled email notification should look similar to the one below.
Troubleshooting
If you aren't receiving internal notifications, check if you've added the correct email address to Restaurants > Select the restaurant > Restaurant notifications.
