Last mile delivery providers

Browse and connect last-mile delivery partners

Written by Marija

Zapiet Eats can connect directly with last mile delivery (LMD) partners, so you can automatically dispatch delivery orders to their drivers.

Supported partners are:

  • Stuart

  • Uber Direct - France

  • UniHop

  • Uber Direct - Canada

  • Uber Direct - US

  • Onro

  • DoorDash Drive

If you use a last-mile delivery provider that's not on the list, contact us with the details and we can consider creating an integration.

Find a provider

  1. Click Settings, then Last mile delivery.

  2. Browse the list of providers, or use Search LMD carriers to find one by name.

  3. Use the filters to narrow the list: tick Trusted partner to show only carriers that meet our trust standards, or select a Location to show carriers available in a specific country.

  4. Click Learn more about [provider] to visit a provider's website, or Activate [provider] to connect it to your store.

Activate a provider

  1. Click Activate [provider] on the provider you want to connect.

  2. Under Authentication, enter your credentials. Depending on the provider, this is either an API key, or a client ID and client secret.

  3. If you don't have an account with the provider yet, click Sign up! If you need to find your credentials, click Get your credentials.

  4. Click Activate [provider] to connect your account.

Configure a provider

Once a provider is activated, click Configure settings on its card to set up how it works with your store.

Locations

  • Select the locations you want the provider to deliver orders for.

  • Only locations with delivery enabled are shown here. If none appear, enable delivery on at least one location first.

Packaging

  • Choose your Default package size.

  • Click Add weight-based rule to create a rule that uses a different package for orders within a minimum and maximum weight. Leave a limit blank for no limit.

Delivery rates

  • Tick Enable [provider] rates so the provider automatically calculates delivery costs and shows them to customers at checkout. This requires the Carrier Service API to be added to your Shopify plan.

  • Set a Rate name, which customers will see at checkout, and an optional Rate description with more information about the rate.

  • Turn on free delivery when the order value exceeds a Minimum order value you set.

  • Add a Handling fee, as a flat amount or a percentage, to account for packaging and handling costs.

Tracking details

  • Tick Add [provider] tracking details to Shopify order to automatically attach the provider's tracking details to your Shopify orders. This also marks the order as fulfilled in Shopify.

  • Tick Send tracking details to customer to email your customer once their delivery has been scheduled.

Support

  • Add a Support email address. You can enter more than one, separated by commas. We'll notify these addresses if there's a problem scheduling a delivery with the provider.

Click Save to save the provider's settings, or Disable [provider] to turn it off.
