When emails are not sent
Guest reservation emails are not sent when:
The guest has no email address
That email is turned off
The sender email is not set
The booking moves to Seated or Completed — those statuses do not send guest emails
You only change the date or time — rescheduling does not send a reservation email
Notes
Reservation emails are listed under Reservations in Customer notifications.
Deposit emails can include a payment link so the guest can pay.

Limitations
Emojis are not supported in email wording.
Seating or completing a booking does not send a guest email.
Changing the date or time does not send a guest reservation email.
On Shopify POS, cancel and no-show actions always email the guest when an email address is available. There is no option to skip the email.
