When you have configured the pickup and delivery restaurant settings within Zapiet Eats, we recommend creating a test order.
Follow the Shopify test order article on how to enable test payment methods if your store is not live.
If your store is live, you can:
Create a free test product, and after testing set the status to draft to remove the product from your live site
Create a Shopify discount code (100%) for either the order value, or the shipping/delivery rate to avoid making any payments
Create a test order
In Online store > Themes, Preview the theme where you've installed the Zapiet Eats widget. For more information, take a look at our Enabling the widget on your theme article.
In the Zapiet Eats widget, select one of the checkout methods (pickup/delivery), and add the details. Check if the rules you've set up in the settings are showing up correctly in the calendar, and click Continue.
Add Personal info, then click Select items.
Add a product to the cart. Then, navigate to the cart page and proceed to the checkout page.

On the checkout page, check if the customer details are correct.
Then, you will see the rate. Only one rate relevant for your selected method should be showing.
Continue to payment, and complete the order.
Follow the Shopify test order article on how to enable testing payment methods if your store is not live. If your store is live, you can create a real order and then cancel it and refund it.When you complete the order, refresh the page to see the order status page.

Check order details
After you've created the order, check that:
You've received the order accepted email, if you're manually accepting the orders.

The order is showing in your Shopify orders, with the correct details and tags.
