Skipcart is a delivery platform providing same day and on-demand delivery for a variety of industries.
To automatically send your orders to Skipcart, we recommend connecting your Skipcart account to Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery.
Requirements
You need to be on the Essential plan or higher with Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery.
You must have an active Skipcart account and API key.
Your store will need access to the Carrier Service API, and Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery will need to be added as a carrier to your domestic shipping profile.
You must have our delivery date and time picker enabled.
Enable this in Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery > Settings > Local Delivery.
Activate Skipcart
Within Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery, open Settings and click Last mile delivery.
In Skipcart, click Activate Skipcart.
Enter your Skipcart API key, and click Activate Skipcart.
Skipcart has now been activated—to finish setting up, you need to configure your settings.

This will be used to notify you if there is an error when scheduling an order.Select the locations Skipcart should handle deliveries for.
Not all locations need to be selected if you're using more than one delivery service. For all ticked locations, you need to add a contact name and a valid contact phone number.
Click Save.
Orders should now be sent to Skipcart when they are created.
If you are creating test orders, make sure your pickup and delivery addresses are different.
Configure rates
Skipcart rates will be used by default.
For any questions about the rate value, please contact Skipcart support at [email protected]—we only show the rates they generate.
You can customize the rate name, and add a description if needed.
We don’t recommend enabling free deliveries as they are not supported by Skipcart.
If needed, add a handling fee. You can read more about handling fees in our calculating handling fees article.
Click Save.
Go to the Rates tab.
Find the Delivery section and click Disable delivery rates.
Click Confirm, disable rates.
Click Save.
Disable Skipcart
If you would like to stop using Skipcart, you can disable it.
Within Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery, open Settings and click Last mile delivery.
In Skipcart, click Configure settings.
Click Disable Skipcart.
Your Skipcart integration should now be disabled. Add new checkout rates in the Rates tab for Local Delivery. For more information, you can take a look at our charging for delivery article.
Limitations
Skipcart does not support editing orders. If you need to edit an order, cancel the order in Shopify and create a new order.
Skipcart does not support tracking orders through Shopify—you can track your orders through your Skipcart account.
Customers cannot use Express checkout methods or a third-party sales channel such as Facebook, Instagram or Pinterest.
If Skipcart does not have any drivers available in the area, no Skipcart rates will generate and an error will appear at checkout. Make sure to enable Fallback rates in Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery.
For any questions about the rate value, please contact Skipcart support at [email protected]—we only show the rates they generate.
