Zapiet Eats does not have a pause button. Use the uninstall process when you want to stop future recurring app charges.
To stop charges for a period, uninstall Zapiet Eats. Zapiet Eats keeps a copy of your settings. When you install the app again on the same store, those settings are restored.
Before you begin
You need permission to uninstall apps on the Shopify store.
Tell staff that customers will not be able to order or book through Zapiet Eats until you install again.
Stop billing
Follow Uninstall Zapiet Eats.
Confirm Uninstall in Shopify.
Uninstalling cancels future recurring Zapiet Eats charges. Charges already incurred can still appear on your Shopify bill. The widget is removed from your theme.
Resume later
Install Zapiet Eats again. See Install Zapiet Eats.
Approve the Shopify charge if billing appears.
Open Zapiet Eats and check Locations, Menus, and Settings.
Place a test order before you take live orders again. See Place a test order.
Orders while the app is uninstalled
Customers cannot place Zapiet Eats orders or table bookings while the app is uninstalled.
Shopify still holds the orders you already fulfilled. Zapiet Eats removes sensitive customer data on a regular schedule, so older orders may not reopen in the app after a long pause. Open those orders in Shopify if you need the record.
