Zapiet Eats can ask customers to rate an order after pick-up or delivery. Customers can leave a star rating and a short comment. You read the results on Reports.
Reviews are collected on the order status page and, if you turn it on, by email.
Before you begin
Add the Order tracker and reviews app block to the Shopify order status page if you want the review form there. See Enable the order status page.
Staff who change review settings need permission for Settings.
Turn reviews on
In Zapiet Eats, go to Settings > Reviews.
Click Enable.
Click Save.
The Reviews card shows Enabled.
Ask for feedback by email
In Zapiet Eats, go to Settings > Reviews.
Confirm reviews are Enabled.
Under Email notification, select Send an email to customers asking for feedback.
In Customers will be asked to leave feedback after, enter the delay in minutes after the order is marked as picked up or delivered.
Click Save.
Zapiet Eats sends the Customer feedback email. Edit that template in Settings > Notifications. See Configure notifications.
Choose what customers can submit
Under Preferences, select Star rating, Comment field, or both.
Click Save.
Star rating lets customers rate the order from 1 to 5 stars. Comment field lets them leave a short comment.
Show the review form on the order status page
In Zapiet Eats, go to Settings > Reviews.
Confirm reviews are Enabled.
In Order tracker and reviews, select the checkout configuration.
Click Edit checkout.
In Shopify, open the Order Status page.
Click Add app block.
Select Order tracker and reviews.
Click Save.
Customers see the review form after the order is completed.
Change the wording
The review form uses customer-facing text from Settings > Text and design. See Customize text and design.
Read reviews
In Zapiet Eats, go to Reports.
Click Reviews.
You can filter the report and export it when Export CSV is available. See Use reports.
