A Zapiet Eats order starts on your ordering page or theme widget. For pick-up or delivery, the customer chooses the available location, service, and scheduling details, then completes Shopify checkout. Dine-in can also use pay-later ordering when it is enabled. Zapiet Eats then brings the order onto Orders, applies your tags, and can send team emails.
Orders that never go through Zapiet Eats (a normal Shopify product page checkout with no widget or ordering page) do not appear on Orders.
This article explains the path. Day-to-day accept, reject, and status actions live in Accept and manage orders.
Before you begin
Add a location and turn on Pick-up, Delivery, or Dine-in.
Show the ordering page or enable the widget.
Choose how new orders are accepted
Each location has Order processing.
In Zapiet Eats, go to Locations.
Open the location.
In Order processing, choose one option:
Review orders before accepting: new orders stay in New until staff accept or reject them. A rejected order is cancelled and refunded.
Accept orders automatically: the order moves ahead as soon as the customer places it.
Click Save.
You can cancel an automatically accepted order while its status still allows cancellation. See Accept and manage orders.
What happens after checkout
When the customer completes checkout through Zapiet Eats:
The order is created in Shopify.
The order appears on Orders in Zapiet Eats.
Zapiet Eats applies the order tags you set on the location for that service.
Zapiet Eats can send the matching team email, such as New pickup order or New delivery order.
If the location reviews orders, staff then click Accept order, Delay order, or Reject order.

If the customer skips Zapiet Eats
If a customer checks out without choosing a location and time in the widget or ordering page, Zapiet Eats does not process that order. It will not appear on Orders, will not get Zapiet Eats tags, and will not send Zapiet Eats team emails.
To prevent this, keep the widget or ordering page as the path customers use to buy menu items. See Enable the widget on your theme.
Limits to know
Zapiet Eats does not offer shipping. See Shipping is not supported.
Pickup and delivery rates come from Zapiet Eats. Third-party carrier rates (such as FedEx or UPS) are not used for these orders.
Closing a location from Orders warns that new orders will be automatically cancelled and customers refunded. Review the warning before confirming; closing is different from disabling a service schedule.
