By adding our tiles, Store Pickup + Delivery can integrate automatically with Shopify POS. Through tiles, you can add the Store Pickup + Delivery details to orders and view and manage your Store Pickup + Delivery orders.



Add the Store Pickup + Delivery tiles to your home screen

  1. Within the Shopify POS app, tap Add tile.

  2. Tap App.

  3. Tap Store Pickup + Delivery.

  4. There are two tiles you should add:

    • Schedule an order

    • View pickup and delivery orders

    Add one, then repeat these steps to add the other.

Both tiles should now be showing on your home screen.


Add pickup/delivery/shipping details to an order

  1. Add the products, customer and/or custom sale information to the order.

  2. Tap the Store Pickup + Delivery: Schedule an order tile.

  3. Select the checkout method.

  4. Fill in the details as needed.
    Please note:

    • All time slots will show, regardless of rules (e.g. blackout dates, preparation times, product date restrictions)

    • You will need to add the delivery details that you have turned on in the settings (e.g. if you don't have the date picker, you won't be able to select the date).

    • You will need to fill in all pickup/shipping details, regardless of the settings

  5. Tap Save.

The Store Pickup + Delivery additional details will now be added to that order. You can review the details when you go to cart, before checking out.


Add shipping/delivery/pickup rates to an order

Requirements:

  • You need to be using Shopify POS Pro

  • Fallback rates need to be enabled in Store Pickup + Delivery

If you are not using fallback rates, you can enable them by going to Store Pickup + Delivery > Rates > Fallback rates > Enable fallback rates.


  1. Tap the Ship to customer tile.

  2. Select or add a new shipping address.

  3. Select the rate.
    You will only see your fallback rates from Store Pickup + Delivery. You can add this rate or create a custom rate.

The rate will now be applied to the order. You can now check out, or go back to change the order.


View and manage your orders

  1. Tap the Store Pickup + Delivery: View pickup and delivery orders tile.

  2. You can tap on one order to edit that order, or you can edit them in bulk by tapping Select.

Limitations

  • All date and time slots will show as available in the POS calendar. Your preparation time rules, product availability and date restrictions will not hide any of the slots (they are visible only in the Online store calendar).

  • You will need to add the delivery details that you have turned on in the settings (e.g. if you don't have the date picker, you won't be able to select the date).

  • You will need to fill in all pickup/shipping details, regardless of the settings.

  • Slot limits are not supported in the POS calendar yet. Paid POS orders will count towards your slot limit, but when the slot is full it will not disable the date in the POS calendar (only in the Online store calendar).

  • Shopify POS printer does not support custom liquid variables or attributes which means our attributes cannot show on the receipt printed on POS.

  • Sending abandoned POS checkout emails is currently not supported, as customers will be redirected to the checkout, without our details added.

    • If you send the cart through the POS, then Shopify will create a draft order, which you can edit to include the Store Pickup + Delivery details.
