Publish a booking page on your Shopify store so guests can reserve a table online. They choose a location, party size, date, and time, then click Request reservation.
The page is separate from the ordering page. Enabling it does not turn on pick-up or delivery ordering.
By default, the booking page address is your store's website address followed by /apps/zapiet-eats/reservations. For example, a store at https://example.com would use https://example.com/apps/zapiet-eats/reservations.
Before you begin
Enable Reservations for at least one location. See Getting started with table reservations.
Set hours, party size, and confirmation in Configure reservation settings.
Publish the booking page
In Zapiet Eats, go to the Dashboard.
In Storefront extensions, find Reservations page.
Click Enable reservations page if it is not enabled yet.
Click View reservations page to open your booking page.
Copy the page address from your browser. Use this address if you have changed it from the default shown above.
In Shopify Admin, add the copied link to a menu item or a button on your theme.
Click Save in the Shopify menu or theme editor.
Guests who open the link see your booking page.
You can also add the Zapiet Eats - Reservations app block on a theme page if you want the booking form on a specific template.
What guests do
Open the booking page.
Select a location if you have more than one.
Select a party size.
Select a date.
Select a time.
Enter a guest name and contact details.
Add an occasion or special requests if you offer them.
Click Request reservation.
If you require a deposit, the guest is sent to Shopify checkout to pay it. The booking can stay in Pending payment until that payment is complete. If you require confirmation, they wait until staff click Confirm. If you confirm automatically, they see the booking as confirmed after any required payment.
