Your ordering page lets customers choose a location and order from its menu.
By default, the page address is your store's website address followed by /apps/zapiet-eats. For example, a store at https://example.com would use https://example.com/apps/zapiet-eats.
This page is separate from the theme widget. The widget sits on your theme pages. Use this article to put a link to the dedicated ordering page in your store navigation.
Before you begin
Add a location and create a menu.
Publish the menu and schedule it for the services you offer.
Open the ordering page
In Zapiet Eats, go to the Dashboard.
In Setup guide, open Preview your storefront if that step is shown.
Click Update permissions if requested and complete the Shopify permission request.
Click Preview storefront to open the ordering page.
To copy the address for your store, open Add order button to your theme on the Dashboard and click Copy link. This also gives you the correct link if you have changed the page address.
If the Dashboard still shows Go live, complete that step before directing customers to the page. See Complete your setup guide.
Add an order button to your theme
On the Dashboard, click Add order button to your theme.
Click Add to header to open the Shopify theme editor.
Check the button's position and click Save in Shopify.
Some themes do not allow app blocks in the header. If the button does not appear there, return to the dialog and choose Add to the page. Position the app block in the page body, then click Save.
Add a navigation link instead
A menu link is useful when your theme cannot place the app block where you want it.
Open Add order button to your theme on the Dashboard.
Click Copy link in the dialog.
In Shopify admin, go to Content > Menus.
Open the menu customers use, such as Main menu.
Add a menu item named Order now and paste the copied link.
Click Save.
Open your storefront and use the new link to check that it reaches the ordering page.
What customers see
Customers open the link and start on the location finder. They choose Pick-up, Delivery, or Dine-in, select a location, then browse the menu and check out in Shopify.
