Print an order so the kitchen and front of house can see items, options, and the pick-up or delivery time. You can print from an order in Zapiet Eats, or from the Orders tile in Shopify POS.
Printing from Zapiet Eats uses your device or browser print dialog. Printing from Shopify POS uses the printer you already configured in Shopify POS. Zapiet Eats does not ask you to set up a printer brand inside the app.
Before you begin
The order must exist in Zapiet Eats.
For POS printing, add the Zapiet Eats Orders tile and connect a printer in Shopify POS.
A location can also turn on Automatically print orders when accepted. Keep Zapiet Eats open on the device that handles printing and allow its print dialog. Automatic printing depends on that connected device; the setting does not print to an unattended printer by itself.
Print from Zapiet Eats
In Zapiet Eats, go to Orders.
Open the order.
Click More actions.
Click Print order.
Use your device print dialog to send the ticket to the printer.
Printing produces two tickets:
A front-of-house ticket with order and customer details.
A kitchen ticket that lists the items to prepare.
Print from Shopify POS
On Shopify POS, tap the Orders tile.
Open the order.
Tap Print order.
Follow the print controls Shopify POS shows for your connected printer.
The kitchen ticket prints on that printer.
