A Shopify draft order does not include Zapiet Eats details until you add a location and a schedule. Do this so checkout, the kitchen, and Orders show where and when the order is fulfilled.
After you save the schedule, the draft appears in Zapiet Eats on Draft orders. When you mark it as paid in Shopify, it becomes a regular order on Orders.
Before you begin
Enable Pick-up or Delivery on at least one location.
Create the draft in Shopify Admin with the products and customer.
If you will send an invoice, add a custom shipping rate in Shopify. Zapiet Eats does not create Shopify rates for drafts.
Add a location and schedule
In Shopify Admin, open the draft order.
Click More actions.
Click Schedule with Zapiet Eats.
Choose pick-up or delivery.
Select a location.
Select the date and time.
Click Save.
The draft now shows in Zapiet Eats under Orders > Draft orders, with the location and schedule attached.
Add the schedule before collecting payment or sending the invoice. Schedule with Zapiet Eats is a draft-order action; these steps do not edit an order that has already been created from the draft.
After saving, open Draft orders in Zapiet Eats and check the location, service, date, and time before taking payment.
What customers see
If you send a Shopify invoice, the customer pays through Shopify checkout. The location and schedule you saved travel with the order so the kitchen sees the same pick-up or delivery details.
