Use a CSV when you need to add or update many locations at once. Export the current list from Locations, edit the file, then import it.
You can import up to 200 locations at a time.
Before you begin
You can manage Locations.
Use a CSV file. Download the sample template if you are starting from scratch.
To update existing locations, keep their exported location IDs unchanged and map the ID column when importing. A row without a matching ID creates a new location instead of matching by name.
After import, review each location's services, menus, and Shopify pick-up match.
Export locations
In Zapiet Eats, go to Locations.
Select the locations to export, or select all locations.
Click Export.
The file downloads. Use it as a starting point for edits, or keep it as a backup.
Import locations
In Zapiet Eats, go to Locations.
Click Import locations. If you have no locations yet, click Import.
On Import locations, complete the two steps below.
Step 1: Upload your CSV
Optional: click Download a sample CSV template.
Click Upload and choose your CSV file.
Wait until the file validates. If the format is invalid, fix the file and upload it again.
Step 2: Match fields
Match each CSV column to a Zapiet Eats field. Columns marked Required must be mapped.
Review the column matching table.
Select the Zapiet Eats field for each column.
Click Import locations.
When the upload succeeds, allow 10 to 15 minutes for the import to finish. Zapiet Eats emails the account when it is complete. Click View locations to return to the list.
After you import
Open a few locations and confirm the address, services, and Shopify pick-up match. Imported locations still need menus and a schedule before customers can order. The CSV is not a complete backup of menus, schedules, delivery zones, or reservation settings; review those separately.
