Connect a Google account so Zapiet Eats can add reservation events to a calendar. New bookings create events, and changes to a booking update its event. Cancelling a booking or marking it as a no-show removes its event from the calendar.
Before you begin
Enable table reservations on at least one location.
Use a Google account that can create events on the calendar you want.
Connect Google Calendar
In Zapiet Eats, go to Settings > Google Calendar.
Click Connect Google Calendar.
Sign in to Google and approve the requested access in the new window. The Zapiet Eats page updates when the account is connected.
If the page does not update, click Refresh status.
In Calendar, choose the calendar that should receive bookings.
The calendar selection is stored as soon as you choose it. New bookings appear on that calendar.
Manage synced bookings
Change bookings in Zapiet Eats using Manage reservations. The connection sends changes from Zapiet Eats to Google Calendar; editing a calendar event does not update the reservation in Zapiet Eats.
After connecting, create a test booking and check that it appears in the selected calendar. Reschedule it in Zapiet Eats and check the new date and time in Google Calendar.
Disconnect
In Zapiet Eats, go to Settings > Google Calendar.
Click Disconnect.
Confirm Disconnect.
Reservation events stop syncing. Existing events already on the calendar stay there unless you delete them in Google.
