Drawing delivery zones
Zapiet Eats allows for precise delivery mapping, allowing you to set your delivery zone based on radius, driving distance or a custom delivery area.
Navigate to Restaurant settings and click Local delivery.
Choose Maximum radius or Maximum driving distance to set the required zone.
Select Custom delivery area to draw your service boundaries manually. This allows you to avoid high-traffic zones or geographic barriers, ensuring your delivery estimates remain accurate.
Use the map tool to draw a shape (polygon) around your delivery neighborhood.
Minimum order values and fees
To ensure every delivery is worth the trip, set your pricing rules:
Minimum Order Value: Set a threshold (e.g., "No delivery under $15").
Delivery Fees: Assign a flat fee or tiered pricing based on the distance from your kitchen.
Free Delivery: Enable free delivery for high-value orders to encourage larger baskets.
