If you have some products that require a different preparation time than others, you can use product-specific preparation time.

You can add individual products or product tags.

Requirements

You need to be on the Advanced plan or higher with Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery.
You need to enable preparation times within the location settings to access product specific preparation time feature.

Enable product-specific preparation time for store pickup

Within Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery, click the Locations tab.
Click the Location Name.
Under the Store pickup section, click Edit settings.
Make sure that Pickup preparation time is enabled.
Find product-specific pickup preparation time. You can now add individual products, or add product tags to add them in bulk.

Within Specific products, click + Add pickup preparation time.
Select the product(s) which need specific preparation time and click Add.
You can only select full products, not individual variants.
Set the preparation time and the time interval for each product. You can also apply the same preparation time for all products you've added.

If the product specific preparation time is shorter than your general preparation time, the product specific preparation time will be applied to those products in our widget by default.
Click Done to add the products.
Click Save in the location settings.

Within Product tag(s), click + Add pickup preparation time.
Add the tag and set the preparation time and the time interval for your tagged products.
Values added here are case sensitive, so make sure that the value matches the tag exactly.
You can add multiple tags if needed.
Click Save in the location settings.

Within Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery, click the Locations tab.
Click the Location Name.
Under the Local delivery section, click Edit settings.
Make sure that Delivery preparation time is enabled.
Find product-specific delivery preparation time. You can now add individual products, or add product tags to add them in bulk.

Within Specific products, click + Add delivery preparation time.
Select the product(s) which need specific preparation time and click Add.
You can only select full products, not individual variants.
Set the preparation time and the time interval for each product. You can also apply the same preparation time for all products you've added.

You need to use a regular cart (this option will not work reliably in the drawer cart).

This feature is not currently available for shipping.
Specific product preparation times do not have a cut-off time.
Product-specific preparation time cannot be applied to product variants.
If you're using a drawer cart, our product-specific preparation time will only reliably work by specific products. If you would like to use product-specific preparation time by product tag(s), you will need to use our app in the regular cart.
Product specific preparation time will not work as expected if you are using any additional apps that create hidden products, for example SC Product Options fka Bold.
