Enabling Zapiet - Rates by Distance

Zapiet - Rates by Distance should be added as a carrier in Shopify when the app is installed and enabled. You can check that it has been added correctly, and add it manually if it's not.

Requirements

  • The Carrier Service API is required when using Zapiet - Rates by Distance, in order to show the rates in the checkout. You can learn more in our Shopify Carrier API guide.

  • All non-digital products need to be marked as a physical product in Shopify.

  • Make sure that you have created a delivery location, rates, and have selected route and address provider.


Add Zapiet - Rates by Distance as a carrier

  1. In Shopify Settings, click Shipping and Delivery.

  2. Click General shipping profile.

  3. Check if Zapiet - Rates by Distance is added as a carrier for your shipping zone. If it is, you can skip the remaining steps.

  4. If Zapiet - Rates by Distance is not added to your shipping profile, click Add rate.

  5. Click Use carrier or app to calculate rates and select Zapiet - Rates by Distance.

  6. Tick all available services and future services.

  7. Add a handling fee if needed, and click Done.

  8. Click Save.

Zapiet - Rates by Distance is now generating rates for your store. You can test your delivery rates.

If you are using custom shipping profiles, you need to add Zapiet - Rates by Distance manually by following steps 4-8.
