Menus let customers know which products are available from each of your restaurants. You can create multiple menus for each restaurant, for different times of the day or different days.
Each menu will automatically have three sections: Appetizers, Entrées and Drinks. You can edit, delete, or change the position of the existing sections, and add new sections.
To show the sections in your store, you will need to follow our guide to filtering products by sections on your theme.
Create a menu
Click Menus.
Click Create a menu.
Name your menu.
Select if the products will be added in a new collection, or from an existing collection.
Click Save.
By default, the menu is set as Draft. When you're ready to publish this menu, you can change it to Published.

Edit sections
You can change a section's name or the placement of a section.
Click Menus and select the menu you want to edit.
Find the section you want to edit, and click Actions.
Click Edit section to change the section name.
Click Move up or Move down to rearrange the order of the sections.
You can also delete a section.
When you are happy with your layout, you can add products to your sections.
Add a section
Click Add section.
Add a section name.
Click Create section.
The section has now been added to your menu. You can now add products to your sections.
Delete a section
Find the section you want to edit, and click Actions.
Click Delete section.
Click Confirm, delete section.
The section has now been permanently deleted, and cannot be recovered.
Add products
After you have added your sections, you can add products to them.
Click Menus and select the menu you want to edit.
In the section you want to edit, click Add products.
Select the product(s) for that section and click Add.
You cannot select specific variants.
Repeat for all sections.
You have now created your menu sections and added products to it. To finish creating your menu, you need to assign the menu to your restaurant(s).
Assign menu to restaurant
Click Menus and select the menu you want to edit.
In the Restaurants section, click Add restaurants.
Select the location(s) that will use this menu, and click Add menu to restaurants.
Notes
When you create a menu it will create a collection in Shopify.
If you edit the collection in Shopify, the menu in Zapiet Eats will be updated, and if you edit the menu, the Shopify collection will also be updated.
Limitations
You can only add full products to a menu, not specific variants.
The sections will not show on your store unless you follow the filtering products by sections on your theme guide.
If you create a new product by duplicating an existing product in Shopify, all duplicate products will automatically be added to the same menus as the original [Shopify limitation].
You can manually delete the duplicate products from the menu.
