Before you create rates
Rates are tied to the zone, and you can have as many rates as you like. You can create price-based rates, weight-based rates, or have both active at the same time—Delivery Rates by Zip Code will show all the rates your customer is eligible for.
Create your first rate
- In Delivery Rates by Zip Code, go to Zones & Rates.
- Click the zone you want to create rates for.
- Go to the Rates section.
- Click Add price-based rate or Add weight-based rate.
You’ll now be able to give your rate a name and a description, set rate limits (minimum and maximum order price/weight), and adjust pricing.
Note
You can change weight unit and the currency symbol in Settings.
Create a price based rate

- For Rate limits, we’ll set:
- no minimum order price
- maximum order price of $30
- For Rate price, we’ll set it to $5.
- Click Create rate.
Rate 2
- Let’s give this rate a recognizable name: Free delivery.
- For Rate limits, we’ll set
minimum order price of $30
no maximum order price
For Rate price, we’ll set it to $0.
Click Create rate.
