Cut-off times for local delivery, store pickup and shipping

For Local Delivery and Store Pickup orders, you can configure a cut-off time.

You can edit this setting individually for each of your locations, with separate cut-off times for local delivery and/or for store pickup orders.

Your shipping order cut-off times are configured store-wide, and can be edited under Store Pickup + Delivery > Settings > Shipping.

For Local Delivery and Store Pickup orders

To configure a specific cut off time, you first need to switch Preparation Time to enabled on your location ( Store Pickup + Delivery, Locations, click on your location).

When you have preparation time enabled, the app will add the notice time you have specified on to the time the customer is placing the order, and only lets the customer select a delivery/pickup slot after this period.

You'll have the option to set a general preparation time, with an additional rule for after a specific cut-off time, if required.

E.g. in the example below, the store offers delivery every day of the week.

A customer who places their order on Monday before 2pm will only be able to select the next available delivery day as their delivery slot (1 day preparation time). 

After 2pm, the customer will not be able to choose next-day delivery, they will only be able to select Wednesday as their delivery slot (2 days preparation time) 

Monday and Tuesday will be unselectable in the calendar on your cart page.
