If your Shopify plan does not include access to the Carrier Service API, you will need to create your rates directly in Shopify.
This is recommended if you are offering Store pickup only.
If you are offering delivery and shipping along with pickup, we recommend enabling the Carrier service API with Shopify and setting up the rates within Zapiet - Pickup + Delivery. Follow our Rates setup guide for more information.
You can add Carrier-calculated shipping to your Shopify plan by contacting Shopify via the Shopify Help Center. They will charge $20 per month, or include it for free if you switch to annual billing. Read more in our Carrier service API article.
Add a Store Pickup rate in Shopify
In your Shopify Admin, click Settings > Shipping and delivery
Next to General shipping rates, click Manage.
Under your domestic shipping zone, click Add rate.
Add the rate name (Store Pickup) and price (free). If you want to charge for pickup, add the desired price instead of 0.
Click Done to add your rate.
Click Save at the top or the bottom of the screen to save your changes.
This rate will now show at checkout.
If you have any other rates added within Shopify shipping and delivery settings, they will show up alongside of this rate, regardless of what was selected in the widget.
