Delivery Rates by Zip Code contains two zip code matching methods; partial and exact. By default the application is set to exact matching

What is exact matching?

Exact matching does exactly what it says on the tin. When you create Zones within the app you will need to specify the full eligible zip code for example; 10001, 90210, NP18 3DD.

This mode is only useful if you send goods to a couple of zip codes.

If you deliver to the entire of Toronto for example, then you probably don't want to enter all 850,000 zip codes into the app. Instead use our partial matching option.

What is partial matching?

Partial matching is incredibly useful if you deliver to hundreds or more zip codes. Rather than individually entering each entire zip code you can instead just enter part of it. For example 902 would match any zip code you enter so long as it begins with 902 i.e 90210, 90211, 90212.

How to switch between matching methods?

You can easily switch between exact and partial matching via our apps Settings page. Just look for the settings titled Zip code matching and choose your preference.
