After you've created your options, you can combine them into sets and apply them to products.
Requirements
Make sure you have created your options first.
Create your first option set
Click Option sets, then Create option set.
Add Option set name.
In the Product availability section, select the products that this product set should be applied to.
You can select from:
All products
If all active products should show the options that are part of this set, select All products.
Now, proceed to add options to this set.
Specific products
This setting will ensure that only specific products display the options that are part of this set.
You can add up to 200 products. If you need to add more products, please use the specific collections or specific tags methods.
Select Specific products, if you offer this option set only for certain products.
Click Select products.
Tick all the products this set should apply to.
Click Add.
Now, proceed to add options to this set.
Specific collections
This setting will ensure that only products from specific collection(s) display the options that are part of this set.
Select Specific collections.
Click Select collections.
Tick all the collections this set should apply to.
Click Add.
Now, proceed to add options to this set.
Specific tags
This setting will ensure that only products with specific tag(s) display the options that are part of this set.
Select Specific tags.
In the Tags field, tick all the product tags that this set applies to.
Now, proceed to add options to this set.
Specific product types
This setting will ensure that only products with specific product type(s) display the options that are part of this set.
Select Specific product types.
In the Types field, tick all the product types that this set applies to.
Now, proceed to add options to this set.
Specific vendors
This setting will ensure that only products with specific product vendor(s) display the options that are part of this set.
Select Specific vendors.
In the Vendors field, tick all the vendors that this set applies to.
Now, proceed to add options to this set.
Add options to this option set
After selecting your product availability, you need to add product options to this set.
In the Options section, click Add options.
Select the options that should be added to this option set, then click Done.
Click Create.
Your option set is now created. The selected products will now have these product options applied to them on the product page.
Repeat the process if you want to create multiple option sets.
Limitations
If you apply multiple option sets with overlapping options to the same products, no options will show.
If you apply multiple option sets with overlapping options to the same products, conditional activation will not work.
Due to a Shopify limitation, only the first 10 options are visible when adding options to option sets. Other options can be found using a search bar.
